New Favour New Visons, Inc. located in Desoto, TX helps provide relief to the homeless and to those who are at-risk for homelessness. We provide assistance to help “Build and Empower Lives” for disadvantaged low-income women, children and families who are in need throughout our communities. We see a growing epidemic that is continuing to affect hundreds of people on a daily basis, and want to offer some solutions and options. We provide multiple programs to meet the needs of those who need our help.
Thanks to this beautiful donation from the store in Dallas, we had a variety of items including clothing, household glasses, and personal items that we could use in gift bags for upcoming holidays. Some of the tops and dresses that were donated were given to a recent homeless mother who just moved into an apartment with her 2 children. She was super excited to use this dress for her job interview and she stated “I feel so good being able to wear something so gorgeous to an interview and feel beautiful”. She also requested the salt and pepper shakers and glasses for her new apartment which would help her decorate and cook in the kitchen. The fact that a mother of 2 getting back on her feet with her children and a new apartment can find hope in beautiful drinking glasses and very unique salt and pepper shakers keeps us humble.
The important issues that are solved in my community through these donations always keep us true to our mission. We were also able to create beautiful gift bags filled with items from this donation to use in our Mother’s Day/Father’s Day giveaways. Thank you Good360 for helping us give back to the community and share hope with those in need.
